I am the proud owner/operator of Next Steps Breastfeeding Support established in 2014.
I graduated in 1980 with my Diploma in Nursing and have had a varied career, primarily in community nursing and public health. In the late 90’s, I began working with the Maternal/Infant population in the community. I earned my IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) in 2002 and re-certified in 2007, 2012, 2017 and 2022. I also returned to University in 2002 and graduated in 2004 with a BScN (Hon) degree. I’ve enjoyed helping hundreds of mothers and babies over the years.
Perhaps I should mention I am the proud mother of two handsome young men, now 29 and 28. And of course they were breastfed!
Once your baby has arrived, I can help you with an in-house consultation. The first few days can be difficult; it’s important to get off to the best start possible!.
